Soon, waiting in line at Yuma Proving Ground's dining facilities may become a thing of the past, thanks to the introduction of the ChowNow mobile ordering service. Starting this September, patrons can enjoy the convenience of ordering their meals online with ease.

Innovative Ordering for MWR Eateries

The new service covers popular spots like the Roadrunner and BROC Garden Café. With the click of a mouse or a tap on your phone, you can place your order without the hassle of standing in line. This leap into digital dining is made possible through the QR code generator provided by MWR.

Ray Lichtenberg, MWR’s Business Recreation Chief, emphasizes the importance of using these specific QR codes. "If customers use the ChowNow app independently, they might incur additional fees. It's crucial to use our QR codes to avoid extra charges," he explains.

Maximizing Efficiency and Minimizing Wait

The integration of ChowNow aims to streamline the ordering process, reducing wait times and enhancing customer satisfaction. "Our goal is to expedite service and eliminate long lines," Lichtenberg notes. Customers will be able to customize their meals, make payments, and schedule a pickup time, all through the app.

Moreover, to ensure a smooth experience, there will be designated pickup locations for orders that are ready to go. These locations will be fine-tuned over time to maximize convenience.

The success of ChowNow at these initial locations will pave the way for expansion into other dining facilities such as Coyote Lanes and the Cactus Café. Exciting updates are also on the horizon for these venues, including a revamped menu and new furniture at the Cactus Café.
