The Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) has taken a significant step towards modernizing the process of obtaining mobile advert permits. On Friday, they launched the 2026 Mobile Advert Permit, which introduces a groundbreaking system aimed at simplifying compliance for owners of branded vehicles in Lagos.

Vehicle owners can download the LASAA Mobile App, available on both Google Play Store and iOS, for easy permit authentication. During the launch event, Prince Fatiu Akiolu, the Managing Director of LASAA, highlighted the benefits of the new system. Olubukonla Ayodele, Head of the Mobile Advert Department, encouraged business owners and vehicle operators to begin preparations ahead of the system's official rollout in January 2026. She emphasized the importance of acquiring the QR-coded permits early to avoid enforcement actions, potential sanctions, and to ensure uninterrupted business operations throughout the year.

Seamless Online Registration

The process for obtaining a Mobile Advert Permit has been made user-friendly and electronic. Applicants can register via the LASAA website. The procedure involves creating a username and password, submitting some personal and vehicle details, following prompted instructions, and making the necessary payment online. Once these steps are completed, the QR code for the permit is generated instantly.

It is mandatory for all branded vehicles operating within Lagos State to obtain this Mobile Advert Permit.
